To get started, first you need to know where your "Darkest Dungeon" folder is located at on your computer. Click once on the "crusader_L" folder and now you want to "Extract" it to where the heroes folder is at. Now what you will see inside this file is a folder called "crusader_L".which is exactly what you want to see. This is extremely important becuase it can be chaotic inside some of those folders if it's packaged all wonky. Double click on the "Female Crusader Skin" and it will open up so you can see how the mod was packaged by the author. If you don't have an unzipping program I would suggest WinRAR. Now you should have a zipped file called "Female Crusader Skin".

Just makes it alot easier and keeps everything easy find. I would suggest making a folder on your desktop called DDNexusMods, and download them into that folder. Once you download a nexus mod you need to unzip it and take a look at how that mod maker set their folder up. All of the Nexus Mods still stick to using normal folder pathing (if that makes sense).
